You can reset your password if it has expired or you have forgotten it.

Go to



In the User ID box, type your Cognos/eSchool username. (i.e. 1704jdoe).


Within a few minutes, you should receive an email message with a 6 digit code. Enter the code into the correct box and click submit. Now you will able to change your password.  


ADE requires you to pick a password that is at least 20 characters long, contains at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number. You cannot use your first or last name as part of your password, and you cannot reuse one of your six most recently used passwords.


Once the system accepts your newly chosen password, you should be able to sign in to both Cognos and eSchool using this new password.
